Florida witness says triangle UFO was silent and muffled local sounds

A Florida witness in Escambia County reported a “massive, totally quiet triangle-shaped object” that flew over her neighborhood at the tree top level, according to testimony in Case 64835 from the Mutual UFO Network (MUFON) witness reporting database.

The witness was outside in a vehicle at 7 p.m. on November 13, 2014, when the incident occurred.

“It was so large that when I stopped my car to look, it was all I could see out of my windshield and windows,” the witness stated. “It didn’t make any sound at all, and the trees didn’t sway or make any noise, like they would if something like a helicopter or other craft flew so close to them.”

The witness watched while the object flew overhead.

“It was right over my head, only the distance from the ground to right over the trees.”

The witness watched as the object slowly moved away.

“It moved really slowly over the neighborhood going north west/west and I watched it until it disappeared.”

While the object itself was silent, the witness recalls other normal sounds being silenced as well.

“Again, it made absolutely no noise. When it flew over, it blocked out other sounds…either that, or I was so focused on the craft that I didn’t hear nearby traffic.”

Escambia County is the westernmost county in the U.S. state of Florida, population 297,619.

Florida witness considers ‘transparent’ triangle UFO one of ours

A Florida witness at Naples reported watching a “mostly transparent” triangle-shaped object pass overhead that was followed by a black helicopter, according to testimony in Case 64601 from the Mutual UFO Network (MUFON) witness reporting database.

The incident occurred about 10:30 p.m. on October 18, 2014, when the witness was sitting on a balcony facing north.

“It had three visible circles, one on each point of the triangle, the edges rippled a little so you could just make out the edges of the craft, but the rest of it appeared transparent,” the witness stated.

The sighting was quickly followed by a black helicopter that had a light and made noise.

“It returned on exactly the same path, north to south, about 20 minutes later, but without a helicopter following.”

The witness believes the object may have been man-made.

“At first I thought it was a UFO, but after seeing a MUFON program Hanger 1 I realized it was exactly the same as they showed and it is one of ours. It appeared to be about 30 feet across and flew relatively low – appearing the size of a softball in the sky relative to my position. It flew perfectly straight at a low altitude without any noise.”

The witness believes it may be an experimental aircraft that has not yet been perfected.

“I should have known it was one of ours because the cloaking was not perfect. The edges of the triangle rippled showing its shape and there were three large round lights slightly glowing – one on each end of the three points. I was very surprised it came back about 20 minutes later on the exact same trajectory, but without a helicopter following it.”

British witness describes hovering triangle with bright lights

A British witness at Swindon, Wiltshire, reported a hovering, triangle-shaped UFO less than 70 feet off of the ground, according to testimony in Case 64480 from the Mutual UFO Network (MUFON) witness reporting database.

The witness was at Drove Road near the Magic Roundabout Intersection with very good visibility and ambient light just after dusk with streetlights in the area about 8 p.m. on October 3, 2014, when the incident occurred.

“A triangular craft was seen floating above the quiet residential area immediately to the east of Drove Road, Swindon, for a short period of time before moving away in a manner inconsistent with a sighting of any conventional craft,” the witness stated.

The witness said the object was hovering.

The object was triangle-shaped and the area immediately underneath the craft was very brightly illuminated by the powerful lights. Pictured: Magic Roundabout Intersection near Drove Road. (Credit: Google)

“The craft was seen to be floating perfectly still and in complete silence very close to Drove Road at a low altitude above houses. It is difficult to estimate the altitude of the craft but it was perhaps 50-70 feet from the ground, and certainly what would legally constitute ‘low flying.’”

According to the MUFON report, the craft was very close to the observer and so it could be seen with great clarity. It was very conspicuous and easy to observe. The witness felt that it was clearly not any form of conventional aircraft or any other known object.

The witness described the shape of the object.

“The platform of the craft was a perfect triangle in shape and was larger in area than any one of the houses over which it loitered, although it did not appear as large in area as two such houses. At each of the vertices of the visible underside were very large, powerful circular lights (one at each vertex).”

The witness described the object’s light and other observations.

“The character of the light was very similar to that of the surrounding street lights, i.e., a bright flame yellow hue. There was a subtle difference of color between the light and that of the street lights. Namely, it was of a slightly more brilliant character – less burnt and slightly more saturated. The craft itself was of a dark or black color and with no noticeable surface features. It was not possible to make out the texture of the surface. There were no signs of landing gear or wheels or indeed any other protrusions. The triangle was perhaps a bit broader in the axis of motion. At the center of the underside, seemingly fixed directly to the bottom of the craft, was a pulsing red light far smaller than the others. This appeared to be very similar in character and frequency if not identical to a standard red anti-collision beacon of the sort used commonly in aviation.”

The craft was hovering during this observation by the witness.

“The craft loitered perfectly still without any movement or instability and in complete silence over a quiet residential area for an observed period of approximately 3-4 minutes, although it was already situated when first sighted and so may have been there for a while. It could not have been present for more than 15-20 minutes as the area was traversed in the opposite direction using the same route approximately this length of time prior to the start of the observation window.”

The witness felt that if anyone had been close to the craft that they would have seen it due to the lights.

“It was obvious during the observation that the area immediately underneath the craft must have been very brightly illuminated by the powerful lights. Anyone beneath the craft would have been dazzled/blinded. The platform seemed to be entirely parallel to the ground while it was stationary.”

Finally the craft began to move.

“After about 3-4 minutes, it moved off without any noticeable acceleration. It moved very slowly – perhaps no more than 15 mph based on comparisons with moving traffic on Drove Road. Interestingly, it moved with one of the vertices leading, as though that were the nose of the craft. No fins or signs of a tail could be seen. It remained horizontal as it moved away and no instabilities/roll/etc. were visible.”

The object moved very slowly away. Pictured: Magic Roundabout Intersection near Drove Road. (Credit: Google)

The object moved very slowly away. Pictured: Magic Roundabout Intersection near Drove Road. (Credit: Google)

The craft then switched off lights.

“Almost immediately after beginning to move, the large lights were all switched off. The lights continued to glow and hence remained visible for the duration of the 30-40 seconds it took for the craft to attain diminished visibility to the observer. The afterglow was very distinctive and allowed the craft to remain visible for much longer than would otherwise have been the case. Perhaps a qualified lighting expert might be able to identify the type of light involved: the glow was a burnt dim, orange-yellow hue and faded very slowly. This also gave the impression that the lights were more powerful than had originally been thought. Slight concentric grooves were apparent within the lights as with powerful search lights and floodlights perhaps.”

The craft moved away.

“The craft was moving in a straight line of constant altitude towards the portion of Queen’s Drive near to the Magic Roundabout. However, before reaching that position the craft banked to the right at a very steep angle (nearly vertical) giving an excellent view of the craft from below, something that would not be seen in conventional aviation.”

Swindon, Wiltshire is a large town within the Borough of Swindon and ceremonial county of Wiltshire, in Southwest England. It is midway between Bristol, 35 miles to the west and Reading, 35 miles to the east. London is 71 miles to the east. The population of Swindon is 185,609.

Missouri witness loses time after triangle UFO encounter

A Missouri witness at Union reported a two-hour time loss after watching a triangle-shaped UFO hovering below the clouds, according to testimony in Case 64426 from the Mutual UFO Network (MUFON) witness reporting database.

The witness was at home cleaning rain gutters about 8:10 p.m. on March 24, 2015, when the incident began.

“I stood on the porch to see if the water was going through the gutter and down the drain,” the witness stated. “I then heard what I thought was a jet or something to that effect. I thought it was kind of odd with the weather that was going on.”

The witness stepped off the porch and looked up in the sky and saw the object.

During the first minute of the sighting, the witness saw ‘pulsating white lights’ coming from the object and then has no further memory of the sighting events. Pictured: Union, MO. (Credit: Google)

“I wasn’t for sure what I was looking at. It was a black, triangular-shaped craft with a gray triangular shape on the underside with three red pulsating lights on each corner. It was hovering just below the cloud cover.”

During the first minute of the sighting, the witness saw “pulsating white lights” coming from the object.

“I’m not sure how long this went on for I remember nothing after seeing the lights. All I remember is going in the house and looking at the clock and saying to my wife; it’s 10:30 p.m.”

The loss of time is upsetting to the witness.

“This has been weighing on my mind for over a week with what had happened and not knowing what happened to me in the two-hour difference and not knowing who to tell my story to. I am still in shock – scared – over this. I do not have any pictures or video of this occurrence for it was something I was not expecting and it all happened so fast.”

Union is a city in and the county seat of Franklin County, MO, population 10,204. Missouri MUFON is investigating this case, which was reported on April 3, 2015.

Florida witness recalls hovering triangle UFO

A Florida witness near Tampa recalled a UFO event where a black, triangle-shaped UFO hovered under 300 feet off of the ground, according to testimony in Case 63708 from the Mutual UFO Network (MUFON) witness reporting database.

The witness was in northern Hillsborough County on a June evening in either 1993 or 1994 at the age of 13 or 14 when the incident occurred.

“It was about 9 p.m.,” the witness stated. “It was dark and I took my dog out. I was standing in my yard on the north side of my house. North of my house is a field with power lines and to the northeast of that, a lake.”

The witness looked beyond the lake and noticed a solid black object in the sky.

“It looked like a black silhouette against the night sky. My first thought was an aircraft and then I noticed it had no lights. It was roughly one-half to one mile away from me – a rough guess.”

While the witness watched, the object moved closer very quickly.

“As I looked at it closer, it swooped down towards me at an impossible angle and speed. It stopped and hovered slightly to my northwest about 200-300 feet off the ground. It was not directly above me. Its nose was pointed to the east, with its tail to the west. It made no sound at all, completely silent.”

The witness watched the object hovering for several seconds.

“After it hovered for two-to-three seconds it spun around and ascended to the northwest and was out of sight in the blink of an eye. Again, at a speed and angle that no man-made aircraft can achieve. It defied physics. I ran inside frantic and panicked. It was solid black, no lights and completely silent. It was shaped like an isosceles triangle. I would estimate its size at about 100 feet long and 50 feet wide.”

Hillsborough County has a population of 1,229,226 and is included in the Tampa-St. Petersburg-Clearwater, FL Metropolitan Statistical Area.

The object moved as they drove by.

“As we drove past, it tilted slightly and began moving.”

The family then drove past the object, but decided to turn around and go back for another look.

“I drove down one-quarter mile and spun around. By the time we got back it had moved off very rapidly and it appeared in the distance. Thought I saw a blinking/pulsing blue light on the side facing us as it flew off. No sound.”

NC witness recalls triangle UFO over military terminal

A North Carolina witness recounts a 1979 UFO encounter at Military Ocean Terminal Sunny Point when a black triangle flew overhead, according to testimony in Case 63125 from the Mutual UFO Network (MUFON) witness reporting database.

The witness waited 35 years to report the UFO.

“It was in my bucket list to do so, so here I am,” the witness stated. “Back in 1979, I was a geologist employed by the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers. My job was to accompany drilling rigs hired by them to ensure the desired objective was met. In this case, the objective was to locate cavernous areas underneath the railroad tracks that go through the military base. When found, these areas would be filled with cement to enforce the ground underneath the tracks.”

The witness explains the circumstances at the base that day.

“Trains often went by. My team and I had to have special permission to go onto the military base for this purpose. Our work hours were overnight, from about 11 p.m. through the morning.”

The site had a visitor that shift.

“On one particular night, the mayor of nearby Southport, NC, Eugene Tomlinson, stopped by at around midnight to see how things were going. He also was employed at the military base. I came down off the embankment on which the train tracks are on, and we stood and chatted. The only noise was from the drill rig, which wasn’t that bad since the rock was soft.”

The witness described a perfectly triangular, pure black ship, very slowly going along the track, in this 1979 North Carolina encounter. (Credit: Google)

And then the object appeared.

“Soon he said to me, ‘What in the hell is that?’ as he looked straight up. I looked up and couldn’t believe my eyeballs.”
The witness described the object.

“There was a perfectly triangular, pure black ship, very slowly going along the track. It had no lights at all. In fact, if it weren’t for the fact that the ship totally blotted out the sky above it, you couldn’t see it. But it was absolutely there.”

The object was silent.

“I heard no sound from it; granted the drilling rig was running, I still don’t believe it made a sound. I stood and watched it as it slowly flew along the tracks and out of my sight. I never saw anything come out of it.”

The witness is not sure if there were additional witnesses.

“I do not know if the guys on the drilling rig saw it; I don’t think so, because not one of them said anything to me. However, Mr. Tomlinson certainly saw the craft. The weather was fine at the time; I don’t believe we were even allowed to work if there was threatening weather. In fact, I recall it being a starry night, and marveling at how the object blacked out the stars.”

The witness says the “clincher” came two days later.

“I had just gotten up and was having coffee and breakfast in a local restaurant. They had a local newspaper available, which I picked up. As I was eating, again my eyeballs popped out when I saw a little article about how local farmers were very annoyed by unexplained, triangular burn marks in their fields. I recall no details from the article, which was very short anyway.”

The witness is sorry that no evidence was collected.

“Oh how I wish I had kept that newspaper; I did not. I took no pictures. I have nothing but my memory and and a notation in my diary of what I saw that night. It is sharp, except for things like directions (N, S, E, W), time, etc. I know it was the summer or early fall, because the weather was very warm.”

The witness is unsure of exactly how large the craft was or far away it was.

“Also, it was impossible to say the distance to the craft or its size. There was nothing to contrast it against. However, it seemed to me to be flying low. It didn’t seem to be huge or anything. Sure was a perfect triangle. Not one light to be seen on it. We had no phones, so I don’t know if they would have been affected. I never felt fear or threatened; only astonishment. I am 100 percent certain that I saw a UFO that night. I will never forget it. I simply desire that my sighting be added to the history of sightings for that year and that place. Who knows? Maybe it’ll help one day.”

Military Ocean Terminal Sunny Point is the largest military terminal in the world. It serves as a transfer point between rail, trucks, and ships for the import and export of weapons, ammunition, explosives and military equipment for United States Army. The 596th Transportation Brigade, United States Army, operates the terminal. Built in 1951 and opened in 1955, the facility is situated on an Army-owned 8,500-acre site on the banks of the Cape Fear River in Brunswick and New Hanover counties of North Carolina approximately 26 miles south of Wilmington. Roswell triangle UFO hovers 25 feet off ground

A New Mexico witness near Roswell reported watching a slow moving, triangle-shaped UFO that stopped and hovered “50 to 60 feet off of the ground,” according to testimony in Case 62824 from the Mutual UFO Network (MUFON) witness reporting database.

The witness was driving an RV on a road trip and was just a few miles outside of Roswell when the object was first seen on December 27, 2014.

“At first glance it looked like a black bar flying through the sky,” the witness stated. “It was traveling from the south heading north at a slow rate of speed.”

As the witness got closer to the object they could see that it was flying very low.

“As we got closer to the object it flew over the highway we were traveling on, and it was only about 50-60 feet off the ground. Then it just stopped mid flight, about 40 feet to the north of the road, hovered up about 20 feet and then it lowered itself to about 25 feet off the ground and just hung there.”

The witness got a good look at the unknown object.

“That’s when I could tell that it was actually triangular in shape and the top and bottom of the object appeared to be giving off a lot of heat.”

The witness tried to alert family members inside the RV.

“I began shouting to my family in the RV, asking, ‘Is anyone else seeing this?’ My sister was sitting directly behind me and she was able to look out the window and that’s when she also saw the object. She became a bit hysterical and began to scream.”

The witness stated that he was in shock looking at the object.

“I totally forgot I had a camera strapped around my neck, and by the time I had gotten it turned on, we lost sight of the object and there were no windows in the back of the RV that had a clear line of sight on the object. So unfortunately, I was unable to get a photo of it. The whole thing lasted only a minute or so, but it was by far the strangest thing I have ever witnessed.”

Pennsylvania witness photographs low flying triangle UFO

A Pennsylvania witness at Valley Forge reported watching a “brightly lit, triangular-shaped object hovering over the trees,” according to testimony in Case 62584 from the Mutual UFO Network (MUFON) witness reporting database.

The witness was driving home from work northwest along Gulph Road towards Phoenixville and away from King of Prussia when the object was first noticed.

“I noticed three very bright lights just over the tree line in the distance,” the witness stated. “I think I noticed them just about the time I passed the Washington Memorial Chapel. The lights were side-by-side.”

The witness first thought the lights were an airplane.

“But as I drove closer I realized, whatever it was, was too bright and too low to be a plane. I actually started to think that maybe they had built a tower in the park with lights at the top of it, but I knew that wasn’t logical because I would have seen this tower/monument by now.”

Witness image. (Credit: MUFON)

The witness then realized that the object might not be moving.

“It was moving, but slowly. When I was finally back on a straight part of the road, I had decided that this was just too weird and started snapping pictures. As I got closer it was more apparent to me that this wasn’t a plane or a helicopter. I considered pulling over, but had someone behind me. It was also very dark and 17 degrees outside.”

The witness uploaded seven images with the MUFON report, which was filed on January 12, 2015: Image 1, image 2, image 3, image 4, image 5, image 6 and image 7.

But after the witness passed the lights, he decided to look back and out the driver side window.

“This is when I realized that it was literally just above the tree line and shaped like a triangle. Once I was past the lights I could distinguish the shape vividly.”

The witness was upset over the experience.

“After my experience, I was a little shaken up. I called my mom, who thought I was just pulling her leg. But after I sent her the pictures, she was convinced. She even went as far as to research sightings in Valley Forge.”

Witness image. (Credit: MUFON)

The witness knows the area well and what normally is flying in that space.

“I have been living in the area for almost five years now and I visit the park often. I know this park in and out. I know what the planes flying overhead look like. And I’ve seen my fair share of helicopters and drones. This to me was just so weird and unexplainable. It took me almost a week to even send in my story. I’m open-minded about unexplainable events, but I personally do not come to conclusions without thinking about it first. Even if this was totally explainable, it was still weird and definitely a story worth sharing.”

Texas couple describes triangle UFO at 20 feet

A Texas couple near Leon Valley and San Antonio reported watching a slow moving, silent, triangle-shaped object just 20 feet off of the ground that appeared to be partially transparent move behind their home and yard, according to testimony in Case 62530 from the Mutual UFO Network (MUFON) witness reporting database.

The reporting witness reveals the encounter from both her and her husband’s point of view. The two were outside having a cigarette at 11:45 p.m. on November 26, 2014, when the object first came into view.

“Me and my husband went out to the front yard by our trucks to smoke a last cigarette and my husband wanted to wait until midnight to wish me happy birthday,” the reporting witness stated. “We didn’t bring our phones with us because we weren’t planning on taking long.”

The husband first pointed out the object to his wife just as she was going to pass him a cigarette lighter.

“I turn around and see ‘it’ going through the top portion of the tree across the street and hovering about 20 feet low and it was going like 2 mph over us and into my backyard and house.”

The following is told from the wife’s point of view.

“In my opinion it had a shape like a Ouija hand piece with four ports/circles – and something in the middle of it between the ports? ‘It’ was made of some sort of metal material. I saw this from about 20-25 feet above me so I see the belly of this ‘thing.’”

But the scene had additional unusual details.

“The trippy thing about this was it was cloaked or transparent to me. In my opinion ‘it’ had a predator’s cloak/transparency, not totally invisible, like you can see some of it, but it was kind of blurry like summer’s heat haze. The main color to me was dull black/gray with some bronzish-like color, not bright at all. It had four port – two on each side – that color was reddish/orangish/yellowish – very dim glow to it with a defined black trimming around ports and there was something in the middle of ‘its’ center in between the ports?”

The object looked like a single piece.

“’It’ looked like it was made out of one sheet of metal. There were no panels, rivets, sections, windows, fumes, smell. When I first saw this I couldn’t believe my eyes or brain. Me and my husband were frozen out of shock. All we could do is rotate around. I wanted to run to the middle of street to see if it sees me, but I couldn’t move. Then I wanted to throw the lighter at it to see if it makes a sound or see what its reaction was, but I was afraid that it would zap me or something.”

They watched the object move.

“We saw it go over us and behind my house and yard. My feelings to this were scared, nervous, curious, adrenaline, denial, reality shattered. My husband did not want to be involved with this report, so he gave me his POV and his sketch.”

The wife then explains what happened from her husband’s point of view.

“He was asking for a lighter when he heard some leaves fall across the street. That’s when he saw ‘it’ creep up in the top portion of the tree. It went through the tree’s top. His description of ‘it’: Color: flat black/gray, tan, reddish/orange. My husband says he doesn’t know if ‘it’ itself was organic. There were no smells or trails/vapors. In his opinion it had a moth-like body with wings closed upside down. To him ‘its’ transparency was like bee wing material I guess membrane-ish. He felt excited, nervous, shocked.”

The movement of nearby leaves caused her husband to look in the direction of the craft.

“If it wasn’t for him hearing the leaves fall I wonder if we would have noticed ‘it.’ After this happened, I had told him to just draw it – don’t talk. I wanted to make sure I wasn’t delusional. He drew his sketch. I drew mine. It was so eerie. I knew we had seen something.”

The couple then noticed other odd things happening in the immediate area.

“As we were reflecting back at what happened we notice a lot of weird things. First, we live in major city, one block away from a busy street and concrete plant and in the hood – there’s always some sort of sound. About 10 seconds before this happened, there was zero noise. No animal, traffic, environmental noise. The street light or house lights didn’t flicker or dim when this ‘thing’ went over us. The street light didn’t illuminate ‘it.’ And ‘it’ didn’t cast a shadow. It seemed to reflect light. It kind of seemed holographic.”

The witness described the object.

“’It’ was about 20 feet above us. Its measurements were about 5-7 feet long and 3-5 feet wide and 1-3 feet in height.”

The next day they explored the area where the object had been seen.

“We went out the next morning to see if anything happened to the tree or street or house. Nothing happened – no broken/bent branches, nothing burnt. Not one trace of anything. Birds still gather there. We have no idea of where it went after that. We don’t know if it went through my backyard’s trees or the houses behind us. We just saw it go behind our house and yard.”

The two wonder about what exactly they saw.

“That is so freaky. Was something in there? Was there a purpose in being so low and slow? Did ‘it’ see us? Both of our concepts of reality are shattered. My husband never once doubted himself of what he saw. I’m sometimes in denial, but I know what I saw. It’s just hard for me to accept what happened and my mind permanently tattooed the event. How can this be? Will it come back? Now I’m constantly looking at the trees and sky. I don’t know if it will return. Please anybody have any info/experience please share with me?”
