Evidence of Alien Civilization? Deep Space Radio Waves Baffle Scientists

The Parkes Observatory in Australia

By Bryan Nelson

Strange bursts of radio waves have a pattern
that can’t be explained by known phenomenon

In the 1997 film “Contact,” which was an adaptation of a novel written by Carl Sagan, an astrophysicist played by Jodie Foster becomes the first human to make contact with an extraterrestrial civilization after detecting a strong, patterned radio signal from outer space.

Though fictional, the movie may have been prophetic. For the last 15 years, scientists have been detecting strange radio bursts from deep space that appear mathematical in nature, reports New Scientist. The fact that they display a mathematical pattern is the linchpin: There are no known natural phenomenon capable of generating radio bursts with this kind of pattern.

So either these radio waves represent some yet undiscovered celestial event, or they are being produced by some kind of technology. In other words, if they do have a technological origin and they aren’t being generated by us, that means they could be signals from an extraterrestrial intelligence. Yep, that’s right: aliens.

Radio Signal From Space Reveals Strange Mathematical Pattern

Radio SIgnal From Space Reveal Strange Mathematical Pattern

By Walt Bonner

Eleven fast radio bursts from space seem to follow a strange mathematical pattern, according to a new study – and it has researchers scratching their heads.

According to study co–authors Michael Hippke of the Institute of Data Analysis in Neukirchen-Vluyn, Germany, and John Learned of the University of Hawaii in Manoa, the bursts– which were first detected in 2001 – all had dispersion measures that were integer multiples of the same number: 187.5. “The astronomers that found [the bursts] have not seen such things before and do not understand them,” Learned told FoxNews.com. . . .

Alien Signal? Mysterious Fast Radio Bursts From Outside Galaxy

Alien Signal? Mysterious Fast Radio Bursts From Outside Galaxy

By Rob Waugh

Radio dishes on Earth have picked up weird signals which show a pattern that doesn’t make much sense – unless they are from aliens.

‘If the pattern is real,’ University of Hawaii researcher John Learned says, ‘It is very, very hard to explain.’

Radio telescopes have detected Fast Radio Bursts since 2001 – incredibly short, high-energy pulses which last for a few milliseconds and erupt with the energy the sun releases in a day, New Scientist reports.

The truly strange part is that the signals show a repeating pattern of numbers which doesn’t match what we know about cosmic physics.

An FRB was captured ‘live’ in November 2014, by the CSIRO Parkes Radio Telescope in Australia. Previous signals had only been noticed by researchers weeks or months after they were detected. . . .

‘Alien Radio Signals’ Detected in World First

Parkes Telescope

By Yahoo7

A group of Australian scientists have achieved a world first by capturing alien radio signals soaring through space.

The team at Swinburne University in Melbourne, led by Emily Petroff, believe the achievement will help astronomers understand the cosmic phenomenon that has scientists baffled.

Miss Petroff told News Corp that the radio bursts are only as long as a blink of an eye.

She said: “This makes the discovery so exciting.

“Because we were able to catch the act, as opposed to existing data sets, we were able to reveal that the radiation produced by FRB was more than 20 per cent circularly polarised and this suggests there were strong magnetic fields near the source.”

The lead scientist admitted that the origin of the source remains unknown . . ..
