So there are 2 things that happened that I have to share. The first one happened back when I was in high school. I was driving home. It was late and dark out. I lived in a very isolated area at the time. I see this thing go across the road. It was about the size of a record album and squared except where the corners would have been, there were these strange knoby kind of things. It was covered in a longish brown fake fur. I could tell it was fake, that was obvious. and it went end over end like if you took a large piece of cardboard, held it at it’s corner (holding it upright) and chucking it. The second time was not to long ago. It was about 2 to 4 in the morning. I was out on my back steps. I couldn’t sleep so I got up to have a smoke. It was going into fall. The days were still warm but the nights were growing cooler but the birds and bugs were still around. The first thing I noticed is how dead everything seemed. There were no cricket noises, no night birds singing, no wind. It was as if someone had flipped an off switch somewhere. The air felt heavy, almost like it had a charge in the air. I’m sitting there trying to understand why it was the way it was when from the left side of my yard comes this thing. It was about the size of a cell phone, shaped like a parallelogram, with a small black circle in the front extended top part of it, and covered in a velvet like brown fake fur. It went steadily and smoothly through my yard, app. 2 feet in front of me. It was quick but not to fast. I was able to get a clear view of it as it went by. It was not an animal. There were noises, no flapping of wings, and the cool part is that there was no wavering at all. It followed a very straight and calculated path. The black dot I can only assume was a camera and I got scared thinking that if I saw it, it saw me see it. Anyway, a few minutes after that, while I was sitting there with “wtf was that” repeating in my mind, over in the neighbors field, I heard a dog start to bark. Then I heard what I can only compare to a voice let out this sound. It wasn’t animals I have heard before and I know without doubt, it was not human. When I heard it, I immediately got the impression that the sound was a sound of annoyance, as if the dog barking was really pissing it off or like someone was being told it was time to go and the other didn’t want to leave yet. It was an odd grunt type of sound but I could almost see the upper lip snarling up in disapproval as I heard it.
