It purports to be a serious investigation into the UFO phenomenon and each episode looks at 3 or 4 (usually) famous UFO cases. So far, so good. But watch long enough and eventually the debunking begins. The 1986 Japan Airlines case is explained away as “an optical illusion” (despite radar verification that an object was pacing the jumbo); the 1966 Westall, Australia case is debunked as “bandwagon phenomenon” — in other words, no one saw anything, but people just went all crazy and convinced themselves that they did. The mentally ill James McGaha gets frequent airings. And so on.
So disappointing, but to be expected.
