Very loud humming pulsating noise woke me up never heard a nouse like it in my life then ther was a what sounded like to me a military jet i served ten years in the military as the sound disappeared past my house the jet seemed to followed they then both fadded away i have never heard any thing like it
I was watching the sky in my usual chill out spot when i spotted what i thought was a meteor. it was a bright white light that increased in intensity as it appeared to enter the atmosphere, as you would expect a meteor to. however, it slowed down and came to a stop, and as it was slowing down the light faded.
after a second or two at most, the light reappeared in the same location, but made a white streak across the sky (aprox 5degs) at 90 degrees to the direction it entered.
it was as though a ufo expected to land behind cloud cover, but missed and had to re-adjust its location. call me insane, but i know what i saw, and i cannot explain it any other way.
i have never seen a ufo before, i’m 29 years old, and it made me have a breakdown about an hour later when it started sinking in what had happened. elated at first, disillusioned and terrified later on…
On the night of sept. 4, 1989, my boyfriend and i were camping on telos lake (part of the allagash waterway), a few miles south of the chamberlain bridge. we were the only people camping that week in the area according to the park ranger who left us all alone. we set up camp at the high bank campsite. at 11:30pm, we made a fire and were looking up at the sky. it was the clearest night sky i’ve ever seen. we saw a light moving a couple of miles up, but we knew there were no airports anywhere around. looking through binoculars, we noticed it moving in a straight line from right to left, looking like it was moving at the speed an airplane would move. all of sudden, the object came to a stop and then darted to the right to a stationary spot in the sky. we freaked out but still followed it with binoculars. lastly, the object either turned dark or it sped off away from the earth because it completely disappeared. there was nothing else moving in the sky at this point. we panicked and quickly put out our fire in a hurry. we ran into our tent, zipped it up and huddled in the corner. i’ve never felt so afraid in my life.
The night after second meteor had phone shooting video out of moonroof of my car. had it running for 5 mins and shut it off. set it up again and 20 seconds later i saw the flash, like a meteor, but travelling up. was more than 45 degree angle and moving really fast. disappeared into a clear sky. video speaks for itself, would like this to be seen by someone who can analyze it???
I was returning from my daughter’s house to my apt. i parked and noticed an odd rectangular shape in the clear night sky way up, but not directly overhead. there were no stars out and no air traffic. i couldn’t see blinking lights on it like on planes or helicopters. and it wasn’t moving close or leaving. i stood watching it about 2 mins trying to figure out what it was. i stopped looking to go to my apt and let my hubby know i was home. about five minutes later i got curious to see if it was still there and went outside. it was there, still rectangular. i went to get my phone and took a picture, which was not as clear as what i could actually see. then there was a sort of mist coming off it and a cylinder shape grew behind it. i photographed that too. i was like, “what the heck!” i stood there watching a few more minutes and then got unnerved being outside in the dark and alone, so i went back in the apt and didn’t go back out at all. i also have a picture of it that includes my apt complex and the empty, dark night sky, but i couldn’t access it from my photo gallery. i was able to include these two shots because they were enlarged previously in photoshop and easy to access.
THE world could be woefully unprepared for an alien invasion and because extraterrestrial technology would be far superior.
Governments around the globe remain tight-lipped on counter-invasion strategies, with the US claiming nothing is in place and it would have to react to what exactly is in front of them.
But what is clear is there would be no point in humans trying to fight them.
Any extra-terrestrial which can make its way across the universe would have technology that would make it look like our arsenal is a pile of rocks.
|Seth Shostak took to his FaceBook page to do a one man stand-up show, performing his shtick last Thursday (1-18-18) and taking questions in the aftermath. For those who presumed that the revelation of a 5 year secret UFO investigation perpetrated by the|
Department of Defense, along with Navy pilots coming forward who engaged a UFO, supported by radar and FLIR video, would give Shostak pause re Ufology—it ain’t happenin’!
Shostak, in my view seemed only to have taken a cursory look at the reports surrounding the disclosure of the formerly secret UFO program. At one point he couldn’t recall what the acronym, AATIP (Advanced Aviation Threat Identification Program) meant—the very subject of what he was addressing! If a university student gave such a presentation, he would have been given a failing grade.
Ironically, Shostak spoke a bit about arguments from ignorance ….
Diederik Stapel. Brian Wansink. Nicolas Guéguen. Anyone who’s been following recent debates over research integrity in psychology will recognize these as three prolific and successful academic psychologists who have suffered a total (Stapel) or ongoing (Wansink, Guéguen) fall from grace in the past few years.
If you’re not familiar with these cases, you can start by reading over Nick Brown’s blog. Brown has been at the centre of the investigations into irregularities in Wansink and Guéguen, a
- The 816 Nuclear Military Plant, located in China’s Chongqing municipality, used to be a top-secret hideout
- It was designed to manufacture nuclear plutonium in the 1960s but was stopped from doing so in 1984
- For the first time, foreign tourists are invited to explore its vast winding caves and modern light displays
It could be straight out of a Bond movie.
We can’t go on ignoring inequality, because we have the means to destroy our world but not to escape it.
As a theoretical physicist based in Cambridge, I have lived my life in an extraordinarily privileged bubble. Cambridge is an unusual town, centred around one of the world’s great universities. Within that town, the scientific community that I became part of in my 20s is even more rarefied.
And within that scientific community, the small group of international theoretical physicists with whom I have spent my working life might sometimes be tempted to regard themselves as the pinnacle.
