While mission scientists were at it, they also produced a spectacular flyover of Charon, Pluto’s largest moon
The still images of Pluto sent home to Earth by NASA’s New Horizons spacecraft in July of 2015 were remarkable enough.
The incredible distance to Pluto — 4.67 billion miles! — meant that until then, the dwarf planet was long shrouded in mystery. And then, BOOM! — mind boggling images of jagged mountains, flowing glaciers and icy plains.
Now, mission scientists have draped imag
As of Monday afternoon, winds of about 125 miles per hour continued to swirl within Hurricane Fernanda as it churned westward in the eastern Pacific Ocean.
But as the Category 3 storm begins to move over cooler surface waters, it should begin to weaken and eventually peter out, posing no threat to land.
And a good thing, too, because Fernanda has been a very powerful storm, reaching Category 4 strength on Friday, July 14th and attaining maximum sustained winds of 145 miles per hour.
Watched a high speed aircraft heading on a southern projectory. no sound, no con trail and silver cylinder shaped. after watching for a minute changed direction suddenly and went into the atmosphere. at that time line of sight was lost.
I was getting my hair styled and the suite has large plate glass windows. my hairstylist spotted the object first, and then we both walked up to the window and i begin filming the object. it reminded me of a dementor from the harry potter films. it changed shapes and then direction. at one point it resemble a huge creature with wings. we walked outside to continue watching the object it moved on west until it was out of our view. we both were awe struck.
I was at the shore front with my husband and sister-in-law. we were observing the moon and stars when we first noticed a bright white light and then a couple of seconds later observed what we thought was a plane but then realised it wasn’t because it rose up and up with red, white and green flashing lights. the red lights were on 3 different points, it then went directly over our heads and we could see the lights more clearly. it made no noise. it went over the tree line and disappeared. 10 minutes later we saw and heard an airplane and we knew the object we saw before was not an airplane
On june 10, 2017 i was at home sitting on my porch looking at the star in the sky. i then noticed a big ball of light ascending upward into the sky. i first thought it was a star until i noticed that it was flying very fast. so i took out my cell phone and i started to record and the event. this object was big. it looked like a ball of glowing soild light. i watched the object fly upward for about 20 second then it disappeared. then it reappeared after 2 second going a different direction. i continued to record the object flying again. everytime it disappeared, it would reappeared after 3 seconds. the object seemed to stop and changed directions. on my video you can actually see another object that seem to be flying in different directions as well. almost as if the two objects were playing with each other. i then continued to record until the big ball of light disappeared for good. after the object disappeared for the last time, i sat on my porch, looking in the sky for the object to reappear. but it never did. i really couldn’t believe what i had just witnessed.
Last month, a neuroscience paper appeared that triggered a maelstrom of media hype:
The Human Brain Can Create Structures in Up to 11 Dimensions
The human brain sees the world as an 11-dimensional multiverse
Scientists find mysterious shapes and structures in the brain with up to ELEVEN dimensions
The paper, published in Frontiers in Computational Neuroscience, comes from the lab of Henry Markram, one of the world’s most powerful neuroscientists. As well as being head of the Blue Br
My brother and i were outside, when we noticed what we thought to br a star in the sky. it was a shiny speck. we both ran inside and grabbed my camera, which had a 250x zoom lense with 18 megapixels. we took 4 photos. we went back inside to look at the pictures, and in awe we realized they were shaped oddly and had pipes. it wasn’t a star at all. thinking it was a ufo, we went back outside to take more pictures and it was already gone.
The first exoplanet was spotted in 1988. Since then more than 3,000 planets have been found outside our solar system, and it’s thought that around 20 percent of Sun-like stars have an Earth-like planet in their habitable zones. We don’t yet know if any of these host life – and we don’t know how life begins. But even if life does begin, would it survive?
Earth has undergone at least five mass extinctions in its history. It’s long been thought that an asteroid impact ended the dinosaurs
This is my second interview with Joel Richardson. I always enjoy talking with Joel. He’s one of the good guys in the popular evangelical world.
This second interview took place right after Joel had moved into his new house (and hence a new studio), and we encountered one technical problem — the video of me didn’t “take” (which is honestly not going to hurt the interview at all).
Joel asks me some good questions about hell, annihilation, the flat earth, and Reversing Hermon content. Enjoy!
